The Metabolomics Changes in Luria–Bertani Broth Medium under Different Sterilization Methods and Their Effects on Bacillus Growth

Luria–Bertani broth (LB) culture medium is a commonly used bacterial in the laboratory. The nutrient composition, concentration, and conditions of LB can influence growth microbial strains. purpose this article to demonstrate impact liquid on under different sterilization conditions. In study, with four treatments was used, as follows: A, without treatments; B, filtration; C, autoclaving; D, autoclaving cultured for 12 h. Subsequently, protein levels antioxidant capacity were measured, effects microorganisms metabolites determined via 16s rRNA gene sequencing metabolomics analysis, respectively. Firmicutes Lactobacillus dominant microorganisms, which enriched fermentation chemoheterotrophy. different, increasing concentration medium, gradually increased, while decreased firstly then increased. trend Bacillus subtilis, paralicheniformis, Micrococcus luteus, Alternaria alternata similar.
